I have been filming for more than 20 years and as well as making journalistic films for prime-time BBC 1 television programmes watched by millions of people each week, I’ve shot and produced films for corporate clients, charities and development organisations including the United Nations.
My expertise is in short form, primarily 5–15 minute films, transforming clients’ ideas into engaging, impactful and emotive films that resonate with target audiences.
Out on shoots I can confidently juggle multiple roles including filming, sound, lighting and directing. I am fully kitted and use an industry-leading Sony FX6 video camera. I also edit produce, taking films through fast-turnaround offline AVID edits.

As a professional videographer and self-shooting producer/director, I manage every stage of production, from developing ideas and researching stories to filming, directing and editing.

Alongside my journalism experience, I hold qualifications in Broadcast Journalism, Environmental Studies, and a Master’s degree in Media Practice for Development and Social Change, giving me particular expertise in environmental, humanitarian and international development filmmaking.
